i am sad and tired.sad and tired because some of the blogs I read by mistake. It is so easy to express opinion against Israel if one relies only on what he / she see in TV .
How would every body react if there would be missiles shooting on his town? What Israel is supposed to do if the Hamas don't want to end the firing and using those poor people of Gaza as Human Shields?
Why is that that only Israel provides Gaza's electricity, food, cellular and more.. No other Arab country cars about them.
It is so easy to live in England or USA and posting things against Israel without knowing what the reality is here.Just imagine rockets falling on London or New York? what would you expect your Government to do??
The cynical ploy of placing those poor children directly in the firing line is classic, disgusting, terrorist activity. Unfortunately the propaganda it creates is swallowed by so many who don't actually think for themselves. I just hope now that when the 'ceasefire' does eventually come, that Hamas keeps to their word. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet picture of your little helper in the kitchen. Just too bad that grown men just across the border try every day to kill her.
ReplyDeleteAnd as you say, most of the world does not try or want to understand what really is going on.
Dina,
DeleteIt is so sad to see the missunderstanding of the ordinary people in the world.I read evil posts and comments and it break my heart to see how people hate us becouse they don't get the real picture.
I just read threw your blog Tom stefenson post and it makes me want to cry.And the comments. It is so easy to follow the line without thinking. He is so wrong .
ReplyDeleteThank you Cro.
It's not that they don't understand.... they don't WANT to understand. Hamas have won the propaganda war.
ReplyDeleteYael please do not get upset by the misunderstandings of some folk. Your blog shows the other side of this war ... it shows that ordinary folk, women and children, not only suffer from missiles but from the mental trauma of the effects of war. Hold in there Yael ... there are people who care about you and your family. Unfortunately politics is black and white with no middle ground or understanding.
ReplyDeleteStay safe.
Thank Shirley. As Cro commented, We lost the propoganda war. It is frastrating. The world suffers so much from terrorism now days and people still do not understand,
DeleteI noted your comment on toms blog and I have great sympathy for both sides......ordinary people always come off worse when conflict occurs...
ReplyDeleteIt's difficult for people to see both sides when innocents are being killed and killed in huge numbers
All the observers like us wish for, is peace
As I am sure you all do
John ( Wales)
Thank you John.
DeleteI know that you are a good man and open minded (I read your blog every day since I discovered Cro's blog:) .No one makes the connection between the old shoes on the Danub River and our existence here.I was thinking about it,
Oh I think they do
DeleteThey must never forget it too
Dear Yael, I too read your comment on Tom's blog and I'm so sorry you have to live with this dreadful fear hanging over you and your family. I don't know enough about the ins and outs of this conflict to comment on that, but I do believe it is wrong to involve innocent children and ordinary people and I will pray for everyone affected by it on both sides, and hope that a way into peace can be found.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
ReplyDeleteI also think it is wrong to involve innocent children. And praying for quiet days.
It is not us who use innocent children as human shields.

ReplyDeleteI delete negative comments if they are anonymous.
DeleteThe power plant has been blown up.
ReplyDeleteSome lines as it happaned when you throw rockets from poor civilians houses.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that the 3 days peace from throwing stuff has been breached. I hope that you and your family will be safe.XX
ReplyDeleteFrances,
ReplyDeletethrwing stuff did not stop . we did not have 3 days peace.
That what i said about the reality and tv news. It is not the same most of the time,
I feel so bad for all the regular people on BOTH sides of this conflict. It's so hard to understand what is really going on, but it's not hard to understand that everyone deserves to live in peace. And no one side is ever completely right or completely wrong.
ReplyDeleteHow I wish I could help in some way. My heart breaks for all the people suffering and I'm powerless to do anything. Even getting unbiased information is difficult.
