some other places

I went to Georgia in 2009.
It  was a year after they had a war with the Russians.
From all the places I have visited
this is the one that most touched my heart.
The simplicity, the warmth and hospitality. 
the joy of life.
And also the war scarred car in the street.

    Do Gruzinian cows just wander around free like that, near people?

    Despite the burned out car the countryside looks so peaceful. Reminds me of my childhood when we fished from the river bank in New Zealand and the cows came down to the water to drink. Lovely photos, thank you for posting:)
