DAY 24

i am sad and tired.sad and tired because some of the blogs I read by mistake. It is so easy to express opinion against Israel if one relies only on what he / she see in TV .
How would every body react if there would be missiles shooting on his town? What Israel is supposed to do if the Hamas don't want to end the firing and using those poor people of Gaza as Human Shields?
Why is that that only Israel provides Gaza's electricity, food, cellular and more.. No other Arab country cars about them.
It is so easy to live in England or USA and posting things against Israel without knowing what the reality is here.Just imagine rockets falling on London or New York? what would you expect your Government to do??

day 19

Yesterday was more of the same day. I drove those 40 km to the grand kids with fear and thoughts
and planing where to stop if I here the siren. If I am on the road I have to stop on the side, turn off the car and lay in the field holding my arms on my head.Thank god it was a quiet day.

Now it is cease fire for 12 hours. We will see.

war diary- day 16

It is late and I am tiered but I know that there are some people in the world who really care, so I just let you know that I am still here.
I went to see my grand kids again today . We had to enter the protected room in their house only once,We played a few minutes outside but it was too hot and too scary. The youngest grand kid who is almost 2 saw
a tank in the TV and said this is a space ship..they do not watch much news and it is good.

war diary-day 15

20,000 people attended yesterday the funeral of Sean Carmeli, 21, a lone soldier who was killed in a clash with the Hamas in Gaza.
Sean grew up in Texas but decided to come back to Israel and to serve in the Army.
A soccer fan called people threw Facebook to attend the funeral because he knew that Sean has no family in Israel.
It was almost Midnight and all those 20.000 people were very quiet and sad. There were Jewish, Arabs, people from all over the country.

Edmund the cat

I have more time at home now so I keep company to Edmund the cat  who needs people around him most of the time.
Edmund does not drink water from the bowl. He put his leg in the water and drinks from his leg.
A week ago we saved him from a snake bite and for him it was the first time to get a ride in my car. He behaved OK.
