Snow?

    Is it normal to get snow in Israel? I thought it was always too hot.

  3. We have only had that much snow here in SE England so far. I thought that the second picture was some horrid grub like creatures until I looked closer!

  4. I went cross-country skiing yesterday, but not in Israel. The main drawback is the the ice in the streets, which you often don't notice until you've stepped on it.

  7. Ha Ha you call that snow? ;-) come over here you can all of mine. We have had over two meters of snow fall in the last 16 days. So much now we have roof glaciers.

  8. I was thinking of your snow this morning:) but what can i do, that is all we had here.Now we have a thunder storm and from time to time i think may be i am wrong and the missiles are back..(ha ha you dont have missiles like we have:)

Looks like icing on a bun:) I don't like snow when it is icy like that, much prefer the softer, deeper snow so you can put on gumboots and place your imprints in the early morning ... before anyone else spoils it. If you are not used to snow even the smallest fall brings a sense of childhood excitement:)

  11. It looked quite slippery. I'm not keen on ice. But Snow I love - as long as it only stays for a day or two. We've hand hardly any this year in Orkney.
