This is another experience and challenge that life has given me. It's only been three days and it seems like much longer..
You have to be glued to your iPhone because that's where the alerts come from that missiles have been launched from Iran. These are very, very deadly and destructive missiles. Running to the shelter and waiting for the alarm, and the sound of explosions outside.
Several times a day and several times during the night. A kind of Russian roulette when I go to the small supermarket ten minutes away from home, and the shower is also a kind of gamble. No one wants to be caught by an alarm in the middle of a shower. I'm fine and will continue to update. Thank you to all the wonderful people who say a kind word and care. You are true friends.
I'm sorry this is happening to everyone on all sides.
ReplyDeleteThe Iranian people and the Israelis are united this time in an attempt to return to the people the peace they deserve. It's only the Iranian regime that's causing all this horror to happen. I don't understand which sides you're talking about.

DeleteI saw a photo of my grandson's safety area, and although it was clean and equipped, I wouldn't like to be a claustrophobic person :(
ReplyDeleteIsrael must be just about the smallest country in the universe (not counting islands) and you need green forest areas to breathe in. Be safe, sister.
Everything here is green and blooming this season, nature and our gardens. We will get through this too. Thank you Hels.

DeleteI've been thinking of you a lot. Hoping you stay safe and so sad that you have to endure this again. Thank you for your very local comments on the Iranian people. I needed to hear that, because we tend to hear about government moves without knowing if they're a national sense. I know Iranians have been resisting greatly, though, against terrible reprisals. Praying for your safety now.
