My therapy is to grow things,it works for me. You must be in a state of suspended animation while it goes on. Hope it improves soon. I hold you in my thoughts . Kathy x
Thank you all, the next few hours can be very critical here, all day there was a big barrage of rockets towards Tel Aviv and the area. Even towards the home of my daughter and grandchildren, they still maintain a good mood.
I think of you every time I turn on the news lately, Yael. I'm so sorry for what's going on over there. I think cooking and cleaning are good coping behaviors. My garden is starting to set fruit, tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs....I wish I could share some of it with you. Take care and stay safe.
Thank you Jennifer,Linda and am.Still not quiet here and at any given moment there is a barrage of rockets to any area, one should remain vigilant at any given moment. My only concern is the vulnerability of my grandchildren and daughter. I talked to the ten-year-old girl on the phone and she's in a good mood. I'm glad she doesn 't hear the alarms at night. Her sleep is strong for her luck.
Staying busy is good therapy. Those stuffed peppers and tomatoes look delicious. I wish my floor looked as good as yours, it's shining like a mirror.
Thank you for continuing to post so we all know you are okay. I can't imagine what you must be going through and how wearing this all must be on you. We are getting more of all this on the news here and it is heartbreaking. Every time I see or hear any of it I say another pray for you and your family. Take care my friend.
Thank you so much Bonnie. As I wrote I myself am amazed at how important the kind words and support of my friends in Blogland are to me and helps me feel better in this difficult situation we are in. My house is small and old and I try to get the best out of it. A glossy floor is part of it. For many years there were also one or two dogs here and during these times the floor did not look like that.
I suppose we should thank our mothers for those skills, cooking and cleaning. And thank you for letting us know each day that you are OK, and your daughter and grandchildren.
Ordinary housekeeping is wonderful for keeping one's mind occupied in trying times. The stuffed peppers look yummy! Lovely to see you keep posting Yael! Your plight is never far from my mind and especially so when TV news is on. Stay safe, and your family too.
Ooh, is that stuffed peppers? What is the filling? Looks very tasty. Hope you had an uneventful night and got some sleep. x
ReplyDeleteTomatoes and peppers stuffed with meat and rice. I do not eat it but I enjoyed cooking. Everything stays here as bad as it was. Might be better later.
ReplyDeleteReally foul weather here, which looks like continuing for a week or more. We may be cooking and cleaning too.

Keeping you and your loved ones in my thoughts. Only one other time in my life have I been so aware of the presence that is the sorrow of war.

ReplyDeleteWe have all been cooking and cleaning as therapy for the Covid pandemic here, but I can imagine that you need it more.
