I found him under my neighbor's car. There were cold and rainy days and he was looking for a hiding place/ He was not well and did not get far. I don't know how many days he lay there. My neighbor went to London and the car didn't move for a week. Only after she came back I saw that Sneaky is under the car. We buried him next to Edmund the cat. A very sad beginning to 2020.
Oh, I am sorry to hear that Yael, but now at last you know what happened.
ReplyDeleteYes, knowing is definitely important.
DeleteOh Sneaky. Rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteHe and Edmond will be frollicking together somewhere up there in fields full of mice.
At least you found him, finally
They both enjoy the cats paradise, good to believe it.
DeleteSo sorry Yael.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad that this is how cats' lives end.

ReplyDeleteThank you JanF.
DeleteWhat terrible news. I'm very sorry to hear this, Yael. Poor Sneaky.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time in my life that there are no pets here.

ReplyDeleteYes, I think so too, He was not well for a long time.
DeleteI have only recently been reading your blog and I was so hoping Sneaky would return home. I am so sorry for your loss. It is indeed a sad way to begin the new year. I am a big lover of cats and have sadly lost many in the past. Their memory and love do leave a big hole in our hearts. I know Sneaky was very special to you. I am so sorry.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bonnie for you kind comment and welcome to blogland, it is a good place.
DeleteSad news Yael, but as you say, you found him and know what happened to him. We lost a love cat a day before we were to fly overseas. It was the middle of a frosty week in winter when a relative phoned to say they had seen our black cat a mile or so away. We picked him up and buried him in the garden, and often wondered how our trip would have felt if we had not found him. There is some sort of closure in discovering the facts.
ReplyDeleteThat's so true Shirley, I hope you're all right there.
DeleteHe is pleased warm hands lifted him and put him to rest. Look how close to home he was able to come. I must stop, I'm crying. Dear cat.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a good person Joanne.
DeleteI'm very sorry to hear about Sneaky. But at least you gave him a proper burial; all cats deserve that.
ReplyDeleteI thought about you and your heartache with your pets as you told here.
