What you can see from here can not be seen from there. Not everything is political.Sometimes I just need one good word to overcome the existential anxieties here. Our life here is like life everywhere else, but here we have added value and you all know what it is, it's not politics, it's the human need for security when your existence is in danger, so when I'm anxious here, do not talk to me about the other side, the other side is anxious and suffering and miserable and suffering , There are no culprits here, I know many people on the other side and talk to them, they suffer just like me, so do not get confused and pretend to really understand what you do not know,
I do not represent anyone, only myself, do not blame me for the suffering of others When I write about my anxieties here, they are only mine, and I have no solutions that will bring peace to the world, neither do you, and thank you to all who understand,
It is about people and we are all the same, the ones getting up in the morning, washing, cooking, getting ready for the day. But not the ones with the guns. I understand what you are saying Yael. It is not the same here although that is what I nearly said. I do not have to listen for guns and think about hiding.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rachel, I know that you understand.
ReplyDeleteWe are all the same, the world over. The same hopes and the same fears. I wish governments would accept this and let us live our lives in peace, even for the sake of the children. Your country should be a paradise for them.
ReplyDeleteYes, we are all the same.
ReplyDeleteI think I understand what you are saying Yael but I can only guess what it must really be like for you. Such a crazy world that does not give us peace.
ReplyDeleteI am sure you understand Sue.
DeleteI truly wish for a time when all people realise that all other people are just like them. Human beings.
ReplyDeleteThe internet gives the opportunity for folks of distant places to make friendly contact, and [hopefully] those friendships help towards world-wide tolerance and understanding.
I hope so too Shirley, you are my first friend here in blogland, I always remember that.
DeleteYou said this well Yael. I understand what you mean.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria xx
Thank you Maria, I wrote the post because whenever i write about me here i get comments about "the other side".
DeleteHugs from afar, Yael.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bea.
DeleteAll that is important is kindness and friendship to one another. I do not comment very often, but enjoy reading about your life with your grandchildren. I have four grandchildren and can relate in many ways.
ReplyDeleteKind thoughts from the other side of the world.
Betty
You are welcome Betty.
DeleteTop of the list of duties for all Prime Ministers or Presidents is the defence of their country. Occasionally we may not like what we see, but response to continual aggression is bound to be tough. One just wishes it would all stop, and peace would reign. Hamas have a lot to answer for.
ReplyDeleteThe response was tough, now it is quiet here. The children were here for supper yesterday and had to leave early and quickly because there was something in the air.
ReplyDeleteHa, well said, Yael!
