Kids love horses. My daughter got her first horse, a little mare named "Moon Dance" when she was still just a little girl. She has a nice old horse now that she rescued.

I've just been looking after a horse for a week whilst the owner was on holiday. I felt like the boy in the picture.
The child is my grandson.I am sure the horsewas happy at yours.
