I write the blog mostly in my head , I seldom write it here..My mind is busy with so many other things. In a month or two there will be less things to worry about. I hope. In the meantime i listen to a wonderful piano-dog concerts and eating tasty grass and mud meals.
Delicious. Grass and mud tastes so much better when it is prepared by children.
ReplyDeleteThey also had a very rich menu there.
DeleteMine just seem to rush around all day, tiring their grandparents.
ReplyDeleteWe do that too sometimes.
DeleteYou are lucky to have grandchildren Yael. I'm still waiting.
ReplyDeleteIt will come Sue,that is one of the best things in my life
DeleteYour grand children always look serene and well behaved and enjoying themselves in a way I like children to be.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rachel, there are other moments too...
DeleteYour grandchildren are very happy children. Also, it is so nice that they can walk barefeet in your beautiful garden! Will you please ask the beautiful hair little girl what's on the menu for tonight? :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
Thank you Maria.I forgot what we ate that day but i am sure we shall have many more, the summer vecation is here.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having good times with your grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun Leisha, most of the time.
DeleteWhen I was a little girl, my grandmother had a garden, too. And I vaguely remember making mud pies and grass soup when I was very young.
ReplyDeleteWhat nice things your blog posts help me to remember! Thank you, Yael.
ps...your grandchildren are very cute. ♡
Thank you Jennifer,i know it is a short time, soon they will grow up and loose interest in grandmother:)
DeleteThey won't lose interest. Grandmothers are special. The one I mentioned passed away when I was only 19 years old and I still miss her so much. She lives on in my heart.
DeleteThank you, Yael, for sharing: I love the serenity and solemnity with which children are doing their things. And to be able to listen to a piano-dog concert: such a treat!
ReplyDeleteI realy like most of the moments with them,i think they feel the same.
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to be able to spend so much time with them, Yael. I have two granddaughters who live in Colorado (I am in Massachusetts) whom I only see twice a year. Fortunately I have a new one nearby and I'm not going to let her get away. Enjoy! even though it can be hard work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Shawn. Usualy i drive 35km three times a week, life here is not easy and their parents work long days so i help. i didit also before retiering and it was not easy, now it is more fun.
ReplyDeleteYael, that is a lot of driving! You are a full-time, hard-working grandmother! You are lucky to have such lovely grandchildren but they are also just as lucky to have you; a loving and protective nanna! X
DeleteTank you Maria, i like driving and living in a rural area i have to drive for almost every thing that i need or have to do. It is ok.
DeleteLovely photos Yael. What was your job before you retired? My 2 grand children live 5 miles away, but I see them only randomly, when I am needed to babysit. They are both at school/pre school now, so I am not needed much in the day.
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to have your grand children so close, Frances.
DeleteLots of worse ways to spend a day! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI do it with love, Harry:)
ReplyDeleteHow I loved making mud pies when I was a child. My obliging brothers ate them.
ReplyDeleteChildren all over the world do it. how nice.
ReplyDeleteChildren's cuisine ... different, but oh so universal. I love the dog sitting at the piano, and of course the pianist... a peaceful scene Yael.
ReplyDeleteThank you Shirley,I hope every thing is ok.
ReplyDeleteI'm missing you here Yael. I know you are very busy with lovely grandchildren but I also know you are well because I see you commenting on my favourite blogs:)
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria xx
