Inspired by Cro, (lady M it was), i painted the metal chairs , 2 years late. The palm tree will be cut down tomorrow because of the heavy constructions here.I know nothing about gardening, but sometimes my garden just looks beautiful; not for long , summer is almost here , the "yellow time" will be here soon.
If you look at real life from Blogland prespective, every thing looks so perfect; that's why i am here, i think.
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks lovely Yael. A shame to lose the palm tree. Is that bougainvillea? We are too far north to grow it here. It's nice to write about the good stuff but sometimes it is refreshing to see the other side of life.
ReplyDeleteThe Bougainvillea is climbing on the olive tree. The palm tree is very high and sometimes i am afraid that it will fall on my small house so i said yes when they asked me to cut it.Thank you Sue for commenting, as usual i feel so limited with amy English and thought to myself what a boring post i wrote here...
ReplyDeleteNot boring at all Yael and your English is excellent. I like to write about my garden and everyday life; I'm not so good at writing the political or contentious stuff.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog very much Sue, it was time for you to start it, i like the small details from every day's life in other places, somehow it brings us close here in blogland.
DeleteThe lawn chairs are beautiful, and the garden is happy colors.
ReplyDelete2 more chairs to paint, i hope not in the next 2 years,i liked your spring garden Joanne.
DeleteYour garden looks lovely. Red was a good color choice for the chairs.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bea.I think so too, they are looking nice this morning.
DeleteFor someone who knows "nothing about gardening" you sure have a beautiful garden, Yael! I wish I could sit out there with you, under the tree, and enjoy it! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish so too Jennifer.
DeleteI always tell gardeners that the description of a weed is any plant that is planted in the wrong place, regardless of its size. You can always plant something more manageable in place of the palm tree.
ReplyDeleteI shall do it Doc.
DeleteYour Palm does look particularly tall and thin, maybe it's wise to cut it before it falls. Your garden is beautiful; I know very little about flowers, I'm a vegetable gardener.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking about vegetable garden for more than a year and somehow don't do it. I am waiting now for the tree cutters to come with their big machin.
ReplyDeleteShame about that tree. Good old Yael, I love it when you post something whatever it is, it makes me laugh even if it is serious.
ReplyDeleteThe tree is down now. You like my perfect English i guess, Rachel.
ReplyDeleteSpring, here, is 'the blue time'. Shame about that palm.
ReplyDelete38c here, how can i keep a beautiful garden? and it is not summer yet.Every one here is afraid of the palm weevil that eats it from inside, so it was another reason to get it down.
ReplyDeleteI have been missing you here, Yael. I'm glad to see you back with this pretty garden post. Pity for the palm tree but I know that the palm weevil is a very big nuisance here too, where an entire street of palm trees had to be cut down because they had been attacked by it.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
I missed your comments too,Maria. The tree is down now may be tomorrow i shall post some photos.
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful garden Yael. Often the garden that 'just grows' is more perfect than a 'manicured' garden ... they can simply unnatural.
ReplyDeleteLove the chairs!!
Thank you Shirley, i thought about you today wondering how are you.
