He is almost 7 and i like to watch him looking at the 149 small peaces and peacefully in 30 minuets goes step by step and built the space ship or what ever it is.Some times we buy the cheap stuff made in China and there is almost some parts missing or the wrong parts, he gets very angry. this time i told him let beat the Chinese and built something else from those parts, he was very happy and did it, after that we went to the town to buy a real expansive Lego space ship.I still have the feeling that we beat the Chinese.
So sweet, these grandchildren with their passion for Legos. He must have great concentration to be able to assemble these things from the instructions. I just put a small lego car together for my 3 year old grandson and I struggled.
ReplyDeleteFore me even 10 peaces is too much.
DeleteI'm terrible at putting together Legos. Almost any little kid is better at it than me.
ReplyDeleteMe too Jennifer, i just seat there and admire him each time.
DeleteJust what I would have done and be done with it. Get the best.
ReplyDeleteI just came back from their house and told him that people from all over the world saw how we beat the Chinese.

ReplyDeleteWe have got 3 large plastic boxes of Lego (20-30 years old most of it) stashed away. The grandchildren have had some of it already! The modern Lego is much more interesting though I think.
ReplyDeleteWe also have here 20 years old Lego in milion parts but the kids enjoy playing with them.
