 I was told that he is old and i treated him like that. Lately he prefers the roof of the house. He needs to jump to the olive tree and from the tree to the roof. May be i don't know enough about old cats.

Dust storm

Every thing is yellow, that how our sky looked at noon, the dust is coming from Sirya and it will take few days until we will have blue and sunny sky again, No metaphors here.

Pretending

Most of the time i have only the headlines for my posts. This is the headline that came to my mind few days ago and i did not know where to take it from there.

It came to my head while i was with my grandchildren and heard that the Iron dome spread above our heads again, knowing that i have only 45 seconds to find a shelter with 3 kids (6.5.3), i thought may be my next post will be about pretending, Pretending to live a normal life "sans crainte", without fear,

Than the rockets hit the north part of our country and i was relieved as if it happened in some other country, far away.

Delusional biography

I just remembered that my father wrote a book about his life and called it that name. He did not publish that book. He published some other 20 books.I did not read that book and now i don't find it in my house. My son read it and said that it is amazing how many things my father made in his life.

Yesterday I found my father with a 800 pages book about WW2,He served in the Jewish brigade of the British army and was in Europe 5 years, until the end of the war.He came to Israel 91 years ago when he was 1 year and did not know the family who stayed in Poland, When the war was over he was asked to look for his cousin, a young woman who was in one of the camps, he went to that concentration camp and found her, unlike my Father i don't know how to tell a story.

Later we watched Sky news live coverage of the 70 years celebrations from London.
This is not a sad post. We are happy family as happy families are, and sad as sad families are. 

Generations

My father is 92 years old. I call him every day.When i am with my grandchildren and they hear me saying 'abba",(the Hebrew word for "father", they look at me and lough.They say that it is funny that grandmother is a child to some one else.

mud oven

Saturday afternoon at my daughter's. The mud oven is a wonder,the pizza and many other tasty things came out of the mud oven in the yard.
