Games

Badminton. I never heard of this game until my grandchildren started playing and I had to wait for them until the game was over. It is definitely a fine and beautiful sport, and meanwhile there are those who are busy with other games, on the phone.

  1. I loved playing badminton..in my " youth". I had to give up many years ago due to an arthritic knee .

  3. The good thing about Badminton is that you don't have to be brilliant at it to enjoy yourself - unlike tennis!

    1. Yes, the same - unless you are up against a Grand Master, when the enjoyment is to watch them fall asleep.

  4. We used to have a net strung between the trees and play it in the garden. Yes, it is fun. I like it too.

  5. Like Rachel, we played badminton over a net in the yard. If we hung the net higher, we played volleyball.

  7. Badminton was fun game we played here as kids. I really liked just handling the birdie as I thought it was neat-looking.

  9. Good healthy exercise! Don't much about badminton either. I know more about games on the phone! A little bit of both is good

  10. Badminton surely is a game to keep one fit; not quite so sure about games on the phone though!

    1. It's a game we hardly know here, so I was surprised that it was so loved here.
