simple life of a grand mother
Your daughter is very thoughtful and imaginative to bring you these things Yael. I have been worrying and thinking about Maria a lot this week because she has been missing from my blog. I am hoping she is all right.
I hope so too Rachel, i realy like her a lot.
Lovely Italian treats.
Most of the things we have here too, but they taste better from some reason.
Yummy! How sweet of your daughter to bring you back those gifts. ♡
I took care of the kids the dog and the cat.
Yael such lovely gifts from your daughter.
There were more, i forgot to take a photo.
Cake with candied fruits and almonds would not last long at my house.
They did not last here long too, and there were 2 of them.
Proof that packaging makes such a difference. Like Rachel, I do hope that Maria is OK, I know she has health problems.
I hope so too,i can not find an email of her.
You have been spoilt by your daughter!! Lucky you:)
She is also lucky to have me letting her go and stay with the kids:)
I wonder too and hope that Maria is well. She is such a lovely and witty woman!
Dear Yael,Your daughter knows how hard you work and care for your, and her family and this was her sweet way of saying, "thank you mum". We say the quickest way to the heart is through the mouth or tummy. Thank you Yael for this post and for the lovely words from you, Rachel, Britta and Cro. You are all so very kind to me. It feels like I have known you all for a very long time. Thank you. It makes it a lot easier.Greetings Maria xxx
Thank you Maria, i came home now, almost midnight, and the first thing i looked here to see if you are back, and there you are. I am glad you are OK.
We lived in Italy for three years. In fact, I met my wife there. She was on one NATO staff and I was on another. We liked Italy and the Italians very much.
I have a lot of memories from Italy too.
