Edmund the cat

I was told that he is old and i treated him like that. Lately he prefers the roof of the house. He needs to jump to the olive tree and from the tree to the roof. May be i don't know enough about old cats.

  1. Our cat, Freddie, prefers to travel via the roof. Rather than use his cat flap, he climbs up onto the roof, comes in through a small open window, then comes down the stairs. I've no idea why he does it; he seems to prefer the route.

  5. All our cats are currently hunting frogs in the large pond in the eternal cat heaven so I am happy for all cat stories you can bring me. And dogs. I'll take a dog too. Or two.

  8. For some reasons I wanted to shut this blog for a while or forever. It is not easy to be who i am in Blogland, and i know that also for some of you it is not easy to be my follower and to be a regular commenter on my blog.
There had been a lot of nusty comments for me and for you, but we shall survive.I know that the bad eyes are reading each word here even if they are not commenting and i know who the trolls are,i dont mind the trolls but sometimes it hurts when i read comments based on narrow minds and on sterotyps . Yesterday was a day like that, but after reading your lovely comments here i decided to stay for a while.

I consider you a friend, Yael, and I would miss you. You are a lovely lady and I am so sorry that the trolls have been getting you down.

As for Edmund, I would like to hear more about him. :)

    2. Yael, you have a good blog and I like reading it. You can't let the Goblins of the world run you off the net. I did that some years back and I regretted it . Hit that delete button and send those dust bunnies into oblivion.

    4. I only just read this Yael. I don't like it when I know the ones who always read but don't speak except when the time suits them and then they disappear again and use false names too. I will win in the end, so you keep going too.

  9. Cats are superior beings ... they have minds of their own, but oh how lovable they are.
Yael ... sadly there are some folk in this world who are not happy within themselves and like, or is it need, to bother decent people. Blogland is a wonderful place to make friends and learn about life in places many of us will never visit ...Those friendships are important and should not be blighted by the miserable few.

  11. I hope you can continue to ignore the nasty people, and feel the love that your other readers have for you. Please keep on with the blog. It is so interesting to hear from a part of the world I know very little about. X
ps we used to have a cat that came into the house through an upstairs window…via fence, top of garage, sloping bit of roof under windows, and then through the small top window, and down the stairs. He would do this extra quickly if he heard a crisp packet being opened ! My 16 year old cat doesn't do much more than laze about on beds…..I suspect that your cat may not be so old.

  13. dear yael,
    we now have 13 cats.
latest one my daughter found on the side of a big highway.
he needed medicines and injections, and we had him neutered.
we are now waiting for his vaccines to become effective so he can be integrated with the other cats, if cats ever integrate!
we also have a big dog but he steers clear of cats and their talons.
