Every one is watching the live traffic gadget on the right side of the blog

but no one is ever talking about it,

I noticed today  that the live traffic feed showes that I am in USA.

Had my dream comes true and we are the next new state in America?

Had Bibi Netanyahoo took the whole country with him to the USA?

even the abc spelling is not working today. sure Blogger knowes that an American

does not need a spelling correction.

Today is the evening of our new year holiday.

May our year be sweet like those Sicilians canolly, marzipan's and Cassatt's.

Old granny

I was busy to day. Being old granny again.

It is fun.

the oldest thing in my house

My grandmother was born in 1900.

This is the certificate of completion of her sewing studies when she was 14.

She was born and lived in Germany until 1938.

She lived here more than 60 years and could not speak Hebrew.

 She talked to me in Germain and i answered in Hebrew.

 So now I can not speak German but I understand everything.

I find it hard to believe that this paper is 100 years old.

to be a foreign

I 'd never lived in another country.

In my country I am aware of all the nuances of the language.

Blogland is like a foreign country for me.

Sometimes I am walking in unfamiliar streets known only to locals.
They know every corner and lanes. I don't.
It is my choice to be a foreign.
I am curious and I like people so I shall go on with my funny and not so correct English.

more about the Olive Tree

In Hebrew we say" God gave nuts to those who has no teeth".

Any way the tree is too high and I can not climb and pick the olives.

but it is beautiful. I know.

Next week is our Holiday Rosh Hashana. The beginning of the Jewish year.

I read in the newspaper that may be Hamas will start again in the holiday eve.

I knew I should not start again with that bad habit of reading the news paper.
