promises

.That how the sky looked like an hour ago.

 It  was like a promise of rain.

But it never rains in September here.

There are a lot of new olives on the old olives trees.

I have an olive tree near my front door and I wish it

would not be there but it is very old and the law prevents me from cutting it.

Exotic things are not always as good as it seems when it comes to live with them every day:)

I am trying to do my best.

Lemon, viniger, garlic, fish oil, any thing that will help me to get over the cold i have.

I went to Georgia in 2009.

It  was a year after they had a war with the Russians.

From all the places I have visited

this is the one that most touched my heart.

The simplicity, the warmth and hospitality. 

the joy of life.

And also the war scarred car in the street.

War was good for my blogging.

Now that there is only a small fear on the back of my mind,( When it will all start again),

I can not find time and blogging ideas.

I remember that anonymous calling me "old granny", and was thinking that

i might steak to that blogging image.

I shall try and find some old photos of grandmothers in Georgia ( gru

zia), and if not I shall post Edmund photo's welcoming me every day.

'where is everybody

It  was after midnight and i was almost alone in the airport.

Me and  the woman who took down the air balloons from the ceiling.

She got them one after the other by sending one balloon with a long string up up

until it stucks to one of them and then she pulled them both down.

Grandma, I do not know how to fall asleep

That what she (4.5) told me yesterday night. I noticed it long ago,  that children, unlike us adults, do not close their eyes before sleeping. They are lying in bed with their eyes open until they fall asleep.

It was the first time after 60 days that each of them (2.5, 4.5, 5.5) went to sleep in his own bed, not in the one big bed in the sheltered room.

I had to stay with them until midnight . I knew that there is not a chance that  I can take them to the sheltered room in 45 minutes. It is quiet now but I am still watching TV in case those orange stripes of the sirens will appear again

September sky

There is something special in September sky.

Suddenly there are clouds in the blue sky,

(Though this summer there  were many gray sky days from unknown reason.

I think it was because of the gray smoke's clouds from the south).

The weather people say it is going to be a rainy winter.

I have to call somebody to seal the roof before the winter starts.

last winter I was watching Sky news covering those terrible floods in England,

My heart was with those  people whose homes were flooded. I did not know

that the summer will come and those people may watch the covering of our troubles here.
